Sage Clients Make History in June Elections
June has been a busy month with special elections and primaries for Sage Media Planning & Placement.
We’d like to congratulate our partners and candidates on their victories and for making history in their elections.
In New Mexico, we were proud to partner with McKenna Media in electing State Representative Melanie Stansbury to the United States Congress to fill the NM-01 seat left vacant by Secretary Deb Haaland’s cabinet appointment. Representative Stansbury won the election by 24 points — a margin greater than either the Biden or Haaland achieved in the 2020 election.
Sage was also thrilled to team up with our friends at Sena Kozar to help Hala Ayala to win the nomination to be Virginia’s next Lieutenant Governor in a crowded field. Delegate Ayala will be the first Afro-Latina on statewide ballot in Virginia. If elected, she will be the first woman elected to statewide office since 1989 and the first woman of color elected to statewide office in Virginia History.
We would like to thank McKenna Media, Sena Kozar and all of our partners through the first half of 2021 and look forward to more victories in our fall campaigns.
