Asher-Leigh Boone
Senior Digital Strategist
Asher-Leigh is a proud graduate of the Rockefeller College of Public Affairs & Policy at the University at Albany, graduating with a dual concentration in Human Services, and Gender, Race & Society. She was actively involved with student mobilization and voting rights on her campus prior to graduating.
Asher-Leigh is a dedicated and passionate Senior Digital Strategist at Sage, with a background in public policy and grass-roots and community organizing. She is known for her innovative problem-solving abilities and buying style informed by her many years of experience with GOTV.
During her tenure at Sage, Asher-Leigh has worked on numerous campaigns - many of which went on to win 2023 Reed Awards:

Prior to joining Sage, Asher-Leigh worked on community initiatives throughout her home state of New York. She is also a member of the 2019 NAACP Next Generation Leadership program. Outside of work, Asher-Leigh enjoys making candles, health & wellness, cooking, and is an active member of her community.
Amara Ukaonu
Lead Media Strategist
Amara, a proud graduate of Emory University, began her political journey with Beto O'Rourke's 2020 Presidential campaign, where she focused on analyzing campaign marketing and outreach data. She then served as Deputy Campaign Manager for a County Commissioner race in her home state of Georgia, showcasing her strong analytical and organizational skills.
In 2022, Amara brought her expertise to Sage, where her strategic buying skills played a crucial role in securing a Democratic trifecta in Minnesota's state government. Simultaneously, she played a pivotal role in the successful passage of Colorado Proposition 122, a ballot measure aimed at establishing regulated access to natural psychedelic medicines for various therapeutic purposes. This year, through her work in Virginia, she helped achieve significant wins in advancing progressive values and objectives. Outside of politics, she enjoys watching football, trying out new restaurants, and getting caught up in the latest reality TV shows.
Kyle McKee
Client Finance Coordinator
Following his graduation from the University of Pennsylvania in 2018, Kyle made his political start in North Dakota where he worked as a field organizer for Senator Heidi Heitkamp’s re-election campaign. He then served as the Finance Director for the North Dakota Dem-NPL where he outraised the NDGOP each year and helped win city and county commission races across the state.
Kyle joined Sage in 2022, where he makes sure payments go out on time and every dollar is accounted for. He has a hand in every campaign that Sage works on, and is proud to serve progressive candidates and organizations across the country. Born in Sioux Falls, SD, Kyle is a die-hard Vikings and 76ers fan who loves traveling, horror films, pickup sports, and reading the next bestseller.
